Hi, I'm Jordyn!
I've always been drawn to the balance between organization and creativity, and event planning brings those two passions together in the best possible way. I love taking countless moving pieces and turning them into an experience that feels effortless—not only for my clients, but for every guest who walks through the door. There's something incredibly rewarding about seeing people connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories in a space that's been thoughtfully planned from beginning to end.
Although I studied psychology at High Point University, my career took an unexpected turn when I accepted a marketing and event coordination role with a local company. What started as a new opportunity quickly became a passion as I discovered how much I loved planning events, coordinating details, and bringing people together.
Growing up with an entrepreneurial dad showed me the value of building something meaningful through hard work, creativity, and genuine relationships. That influence, combined with my own experiences, inspired me to create Haven Event Co.—a business rooted in thoughtful planning, intentional design, and creating spaces where people can truly connect.
When I'm not planning events, I'm usually spending time with my fiancé as we count down to our own wedding in October 2026, curled up with a good book, or hanging out with our two very spoiled Australian Shepherds, who proudly hold the title of our "children."
